In-Depth Social Research

In-Depth Social Research is a newly created Melbourne based consultancy specialising in qualitative research relating to social disadvantage in areas such as housing and homelessness, families, women, disability, community development, health, unemployment, problem gambling, drug and alcohol addictions, cultural diversity, and education.

We primarily use qualitative research methods to be able to provide findings and policy recommendations based on an in-depth understanding of people's lived experiences within particular social and cultural contexts.

Our research is informed by a strong commitment to social justice and the belief that the social research process can in itself produce powerful changes. We provide a range of research services at local, regional, national, and international levels. We believe in participatory approaches and in working collaboratively with all individuals and stakeholders.
